On February 20, 1987, Miles Teller was born in Downingtown, Pennsylvania in the United States of America to Mike Teller, a nuclear power plant engineer, and Merry Flowers, a real estate agent. Miles was raised alongside his two older siblings Erin and Dana first in Pennsylvania, then in Delaware before eventually settling in Citrus County Florida when he was twelve years old. He has multiple ethnicities of Russian, English, and Irish. As an instrumentalist, he played drums, piano, guitar, and alto saxophone during his days at high school as well as actively engaged in acting becoming the president of his high school’s drama club. He’s a graduate of Lecanto High School and New York University Tisch School of the Arts respectively and has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in drama from the latter institution. 

In 2010, Miles made his major debut in the film industry starring in Rabbit Hole (2010). He subsequently appeared in a number of movies like The Spectacular Now (2013) and Divergent film trilogy (2014-2016), Whiplash (2014), and Fantastic Four (2015) exposing him to fame.
